Child-Inclusive Mediation (CIM)

Child-Inclusive Mediation (CIM)

For children of ten or over, there is an option for them to be part of the mediation process in what is known as a Child-Inclusive Mediation (CIM). This is a short, confidential meeting with the mediator and enables the child or children to have a voice and to feel heard. Messages, thoughts or ideas may be relayed to the parents at a follow-up mediation session, with the child's consent.
